Obituary for Gary D. Clark

Gary D. Clark, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at home with his family. He was 74.

Gary was the loving husband of Robin (Bauman) Clark. The couple spent 40 wonderful years together.

Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Elsie Mae and Paul Willard Clark, Sr.

After graduating from William Tennent High School, Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era from 1969 to 1971. Accumulating over 60 jumps, he received various decorations and badges including the National Defense Service Medal and Parachute Badge.

After being honorably discharged from the Army, Gary was employed as a first-class welder for SEPTA until his retirement.

In his free time, Gary enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, attending to his lawn and having an occasional cigar. He was an avid woodworker, enjoying building and working with his hands and he was always available to help anyone with a project. Gary enjoyed travelling with his wife, family and friends on cruises, a memorable cigar trip to Honduras, many trips to the shore and last year a hot air balloon ride. His passions were learning about the life and culture of Native Americans and taking care of his beloved pets, his dog Loki and cat Arya.

In addition to his wife, Robin, Gary will be dearly missed by his children, Nicole Faisz, Joseph Camburn, Ryan Camburn; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Veronica, Phillip; his brothers, Paul Clark Jr. (Jane), and Alan Clark (Karen) and his extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Mae Clark.
