Obituary for Gabriele I. Smith
Gabriele I. Smith, of Chalfont, PA., passed away at her home on Saturday April 22, 2023. She was 72 years old. Gabriele was the wife of David F. Smith. The couple would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in November.
Born in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of Oskar and Maria (Mueller) Udel.
Gabriele had attended Archbishop Ryan High School Class of 1969. As a self-employed hairstylist, she touched more hearts than hair.
Gabriele was known for her red hair & vibrant personality; she loved & befriended everyone. She touched so many lives. She lit up every room she walked in and also laughed and danced while in the room. She cared & loved everyone without judgment and was the kindest, most pure soul.
In her free time, Gabriele enjoyed movies, dining out, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for being a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband David, and her parents; Gabriele is survived by her children Nikolai Smith and Stefanie Reilly and her grandchildren Dylan and Jack Reilly.
Gabriele’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 2nd, at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church 1325 Upper State Rd, North Wales, PA. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00am until the time of Mass. Internment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
