Fred J. Beck, Sr., a resident of Warrington since 1953, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Neshaminy Manor. He was 91 years old.

Fred was the loving husband of the late Margaret A. Beck, who passed away in August of 2011.

Born in Philadelphia, Fred was a son of the late Fred and Gilda (Oldrati) Beck.

Fred retired from F.W. Woolworth in Philadelphia.

He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed bowling. Most of all, Fred enjoyed spending time with his family.

Fred is survived by four daughters, Barbara Michener and her husband, Lester, Dianna Fields and her husband, Donald, Elizabeth Kurth and her husband, Richard, and Peggy DeVito and her husband, John, and a son, Fred Beck Jr. and his wife, Lynn. Fred also is survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Margaret, and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Pries and two sisters, Joan Grimes and Flora Teti.

Fred’s services will be held private at the convenience of the family at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
