Obituary for Florence May Miley
Florence May Miley, a resident of Warminster for the past 5 years, formerly of Abington, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Abington Hospice, Warminster. She was 95.
Born in Philadelphia, Florence was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Keel) Miley.
Florence worked as a Sr. Administrative Clerk in the accounting department at Sun Oil Company in Philadelphia, retiring in 1979 after 37 years of service.
Florence had an interest in studying genealogy and took classes on the subject.
Florence also enjoyed volunteering at the Abington Thrift Store and traveling.
Florence was preceded in death by her brothers, Bert and Bob Miley. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Rosemarie Miley and Eileen Miley. Florence is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Florence’s funeral service, 11:00 am, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Wayside Chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will follow the service.
