Obituary for Elizabeth A. "Betty" Niszczak
Elizabeth Niszczak of Southampton, PA., passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021. She was 77 years old.
Born and raised in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia, Betty was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Kleinfelder) Wolk. A proud graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls; Betty was in the Class of 1961.
Betty was the Receptionist in the Business Office at Archbishop Wood for almost 30 years. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Betty enjoyed summers with her family in North Wildwood. Traveling abroad and trips to Disney had created many fond memories.
Betty is survived by her daughters Audra A., Elizabeth A., sons Joseph E. (Kelly) and Thomas M. (Joanna) Niszczak. She was the sister of Michael (Madeline) and the late Edward Wolk. She is also survived by her grandchildren Connor, Declan, Theadora and Emilia Niszczak, her niece Ashley and several nephews.
Betty’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Southampton. Internment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington and on Wednesday at the Church from 10:00am until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Joseph’s House of Camden 20 Church Street Camden, NJ 08105.
