Obituary for Elizabeth Ann Mitchell
Elizabeth Ann Mitchell absented her body to be present with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:1-8) on Friday December 11, 2020 at her home in Warminster PA. She was 73 years old. Betty was the wife of Rev. Albert W. Mitchell.
She was born in Woodbury, NJ and was the daughter of Elmer S. and Mary E. (Fennimore) Stone.
Betty was a graduate of The Camden County Christian Day School, Triton Regional High School and studied sculpture at the Seward Johnson Atelier in Trenton, NJ. She was a clerk at the Insurance Company of North America in Philadelphia.
Betty loved cooking and baking, and was employed at Thompson's Bakery and Dunkin' Donuts. Betty's favorite composer was Frederik Chopin and her favorite ballet artist was Rudolf Nureyev. Betty enjoyed singing hymns and spiritual songs, and was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church of Warminster PA.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her step-children Mary Alice Oliver (Jackie), Melissa Ann and Mark Andrew (Christine) Mitchell. She was the sister of Bonnie J. Downs and Ralph Stone. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Melody Kait, Mariah Ann, Raygen Grace and Lincoln Atreyu Mitchell.
A graveside service will be held privately in Harleigh Cemetery in Camden, New Jersey.
