Obituary for Elaine Ripley

Elaine Ripley of New Hope passed away on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at Neshaminy Manor in Doylestown. Elaine was 94 years old.

Born in Philadelphia Elaine was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (McManus) Mullin. She was the wife of the late John A. Ripley for 58 years.

A 1945 Graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia Elaine had been employed with the IRS as an examiner and she had retired in 1989.

Elaine had resided in Port St. Lucie Fl. and had returned to the Doylestown area in 2004.

Elaine was very active in her community as well as her Church. She was a communicant of St. Martin Of Tours Church in New Hope, where she volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister.

Elaine enjoyed giving of her time; she had volunteered with many organizations including Irish Club of Port St. Lucie, Small Christian Community, Our Lady of Sorrows Soup Kitchen and many other volunteer groups in the churches she attended or communities where she lived .

Elaine is survived by her children Denise Dombkoski (Michael), Helene Martin (Michael), John F. (Julie), and Paul (Donna) Ripley. She was the sister of Margaret Juliano and the late Frank Mullin.

Elaine is also survived by her grandchildren Meaghan Speers, Sean, Aidan and Kevin Ripley, Alexa, Michael and Cara Dombkoski, and Ryan Martin. She was the great grandmother of Jantzen, Rothe, Eve, Jack, Juliette, and Issa. She is also survived by many cousins, in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Elaine was a longtime resident of New Hope Manor and leaves behind lots of friends with whom she shared the stories of a “well lived life”.

Elaine‘s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday, May 23, 2022 at St. Martin of Tours 1 Riverstone Circle New Hope. Interment will be held privately. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 AM until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent the Doylestown Hospice c/o Doylestown Health Foundation, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
