Eileen M. Freas of Warrington, formerly of Southampton, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on November 7, 2018 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 84 years old.

Eileen was the wife of the late George W. Freas who passed away in 2014. Together they had shared 59 years of marriage.

Eileen was born in Philadelphia, and was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mary (Nee Brady) McMahon. She was a graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls. Eileen had been employed for over 25 years as a cashier with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Over the years, Eileen was actively involved in her Church, Our Lady of Good Counsel in Southampton.. She enjoyed many trips to Sea Isle City and Florida with her family. She was an avid walker and enjoyed watching Phillies and Eagles. Eileen enjoyed the time she spent with her family, but most importantly with her grandchildren.


Eileen is survived by her son George and daughter in law Claire (Mangin) Freas. She was the grandmother of Kerry Freas, Matthew Freas and Morgan Malley her step granddaughter. She was predeceased by her 2 Brothers Edward McMahon (Philadelphia), Hugh McMahon (Warminster) and her sister Ann Tulskie (Springfield Delaware County). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews

Eileen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 10:30 am until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing Cemetery.
