Obituary for Edward L. Massaro
Edward L. Massaro, of Warrington, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 83 years old.
Ed was the loving husband of Christine B. (Capitolo) Massaro. Together the couple had been married for 53 years.
Born in South Philadelphia Ed was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Petterino) Massaro. Ed was employed at Dietz & Watson in Philadelphia as a Computer Analyst. He had retired in 2014 after many years with the company.
Ed was devoted to his faith and was a longtime parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Warrington. Ed enjoyed the beach and making memories with his beloved grandchildren Ty and Payton, and attending all of their many activities. Ed also enjoyed playing and watching as much golf as he could . He was also the great nephew of the famed Jazz guitarist Eddie Lang and loved to celebrate his legacy.
In addition to his wife; Ed is survived by his son Edward L. Massaro, Jr, his wife Colleen, and his grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by his sister Anne Marie Foley and his brother Thomas Massaro.
Ed’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, PA 18976. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
