Obituary for Edith D. Ambrose
Edith D. Ambrose, of Buckingham Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 83.
Edith was the loving wife of William J. Ambrose. The couple would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in November.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Archangelo and Carmella Tedeschi.
Edith was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Doylestown.
Edith was employed as a cafeteria aide for the Philadelphia School District for 25 years prior to retirement.
In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
In addition to her husband, Edith will be deeply missed by her children, Diana Ferrell (Jack), William Ambrose III (Tina), Michael Ambrose (Laurie), Joanne Kelly (Brion), 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Kathleen, Lindsay, Nicole, William IV (Lilly), Jacob, Andrew; two great grandchildren, Aidan, Joseph; and her brother, Frank Tedeschi (Patricia).
Edith was preceded in death by her two sisters, Rose Pacitti and Lucy Coia.
