Obituary for Donna Jean Bernazzoli

Donna Jean Bernazzoli, of Warrington, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 75.

She was the loving wife of Mario Bernazzoli. The couple had recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in February.

Born in Tunnelhill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Orazio and Jennie Dillalogue.

Donna spent her earlier years as a hairdresser, and when her children had grown, she was employed as a school aide for the Central Bucks School District for 20 years.

Everything Donna enjoyed in life, she enjoyed doing with Mario. Golfing was their absolute favorite past-time, along with traveling and gardening. Over the years, she made so many wonderful friendships as a member of Old York Road Country Club and the Bucks County Country Club. But her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with family and friends. Donna had a unique way of making people feel welcome and a part of our family. She truly valued the friendships she shared with the Julian’s, the Ledder’s, the Lahr’s, the Shelly’s, the Chess’s, the Stella’s, the Leighton’s, the Schiesser’s, and all her friends in Palomino Farms and Lamplighter Village; as well as the Giorgi-Baker’s, the Campbell’s, the Hadfield’s, the Melchiorre’s, the Howley’s, the Giorgi’s, the Kleger’s, the Madani’s and the entire staff at Bacco’s and La Voglia Restaurants.

In addition to her husband, Mario, Donna will be dearly missed by her children, Mark Bernazzoli (Scott Jacob), Marsha Ledder (Rob); and her 4 grandchildren, Alex Forero (Emily Campbell), Jessica Ledder (Jason Papandorf), Brianna Ledder, and Olivia Ledder.

Donna was the youngest of 10 children, she was preceded in death by her brothers Toby (Rosa) Dillalogue, Angelo (Catherine) Dillalogue, Jim (Joy) Dillalogue, Fred (Jeanette) Dillalogue and Bob (Nina) Dillalogue; and her sisters Dorothy (Joe) Toth, Mary (Bud) Kuhar and Liz (Don) Gallagher. Her dear sister Rose (Bob) Rimini is the only surviving sibling.

She was a beloved sister in law to Bob (Sandy) Bernazzoli, Barbara (Joe) Francis and Richard (Annette) Bernazzoli.

She will be dearly missed by all her nieces and nephews who adored her.

Donna’s services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
