Diane Van Atta, of Warminster, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at her residence. She was 70 years old.

Diane was the beloved wife of James Van Atta. Diane and Jim celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on April 11, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret Hegyi.

Diane enjoyed aerobics in her younger years, gardening, home interior, shopping, watching Harry Potter marathons (every weekend), going to the movies and grabbing frozen yogurt with Chris and Mary, reading, and spoiling her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by two sons, James Van Atta (Dawn), Scott Van Atta, a daughter, Tracy Spicer (Charles), 6 grandchildren: Riley, Kayla, Brody, Colin, Gia, and Camo, and three sisters, Christine Martin, Deborah MacNichol (Albert), and Gail Gier (Brian).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11 AM at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976. Family will receive friends from 10 until the time of the service.

Our family is blessed with three preemies and a micro-preemie that survived by the grace of God and the wonderful care and support they received when they were born.
