Denise Ann McFadden passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 14, 2021 at her home in Chalfont. Denise was 54 years old.
Born in Chester, PA., she was the daughter of Lorraine (Harrison) and the late John Gabriele, Sr.
Denise was the wife of Joseph E. McFadden, III. Together the couple shared 21 years of marriage (together as a couple for over 31 years).
Born April 12, 1967 at Crozier Medical Center in Chester PA, Denise was the pride and joy of a large and close-knit extended Italian/English-Czech family whom gathered for large traditional lasagna Sunday dinners along with a hard-working manual labor mentality (picture long-line of tanned, weathered outdoorsy workers).
She absolutely loved all living creatures, from carrying spiders and other insects out of the house to feeding and caring for numerous strays and 'wild' animals, including birds, geese, ducks, squirrels and the ever-popular albino wild turkey whom she picked up and drove to Ark Foundation to ensure its safety (which promptly laid an egg in backseat of her car during transport). Avid cat owner who provided a safe and healthy environment for multiple cats throughout her life.
The ultimate love of her life is her son Joey, she WORSHIPED the ground he walked on and was present at all of his Lenape Valley baseball, basketball, football, and soccer games along with his CBAA Basketball and inline roller hockey games all over the east coast and most recently Joey's Central Bucks West Ice Hockey high school games where the Buck's team had a very emotional tribute recognizing Denise and her status as a CB West family member. No matter what the situation was personally or professionally, she found a way to attend Joey's games and was a constant cheering him and the team on up in the stands.
She absolutely gleamed at the mention of Joey's name and her beautiful eyes twinkled while gushing over him, I would stand back and watch so proudly as she beamed with such pride over Joey.
I met Denise over 31 years ago at the 94th Aero Squadron during her 23rd birthday celebration and never looked back. Totally stunning eyes and awesome tan, she had me at the 1/2 moon necklace she was wearing. We met next day at old Caldor parking lot in Warminster (now Old Navy) where I greeted her with a dozen long-stemmed roses, she greeted me in sweat pants and a baggy 'Palisades' sweatshirt and her hair 'Au-naturale'. It was love at first sight.
Spent next 31+ years with her and to say it was an adventure would be a total understatement, but wouldn't trade a minute of it.
Joey and I love her dearly and miss her tremendously, but her spirit will live with us forever (my son Joey has so many of her traits it's scary), plus the fact knowing she's with her dad in heaven watching Hallmark Channel Christmas specials is comforting.
Denise is also survived by her son Joseph E. McFadden, IV; her brother John Gabriele, Jr.; and her niece Gianna Gabriele.
A Celebration of Denise's Life will be held on Sunday June 5th from 1-4pm at 105 Keystone Drive Telford, PA 18969.
