Obituary for David Daniel Hudson

David Daniel Hudson, 74, passed peacefully at his home in Chalfont, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, August 12th, 2014.

David was born in Charleston, West Virginia to David Anderson Hudson and Gladys Chapman Givins. He attended Romney school for the deaf in West Virginia in addition to Pennsylvania school for the deaf. He retired from Standardized Pressed Steel in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. An avid Philadelphia sports fan and lifelong supporter of West Virginia University athletics, David also enjoyed spending time at the shore with his family.

To cherish his memory, David leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Linda (Hirst) Hudson.; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Yvonne Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Loulie and Darrin Kenney.; son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Paula Hudson.; six grandchildren: Kiersten, Caitlin, Colin, Connor, Ryan, and Kaleigh.; A brother, Stephen Hudson.; sister, Beverly Toler. David was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Hudson.
David’s Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 18, 2014, 11:00am at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Road Warrington Pa. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 10:00am until the time of service. Internment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf 100 W School House Ln, Philadelphia, PA., 19144-3404, www.psd.org
