David A. Harvey, a 40 year resident of Warrington, formerly of Connellsville, PA passed away on Thursday November 15, 2018 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 71. Dave was born in Manhasset, NY. He was the son of the late Vincent and Irene Harvey.

Dave was the husband of Bernadette (Nee Cerebe) Harvey who together would have celebrated 50 years of Marriage in December. Dave was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, in Olean, NY, where he received a BBA. He had been employed for over 40 years in the retail arena as an accountant and also a controller. Dave had served in the US Army VII Corps, in Stuttgart, Germany and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.

Dave was an active member of St. Robert Bellarmine, where he served as Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. In his free time Dave enjoyed walking, fishing, travels to the Caribbean, he loved sailing and trips to the shore. Most especially he delighted in visits with his family; his Granddaughters brought him great joy.

In addition to his wife Dave is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Christopher and Dodi (Boone), Daniel and Elizabeth (Cathcart), and Michael and Deborah (Weisel) Harvey. He was the grandfather of Abigail, Samantha, Emily, and Allison Harvey. He was the brother of the late Kathleen Bruckner and Brian Harvey.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
