Obituary for Corinne R. Bradley

Corinne R. Bradley of Philadelphia passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2022 at Doylestown Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Corinne was 71 years old. She was the loving wife of David J. Bradley. The couple had celebrated their 50th anniversary last year.

Born in Philadelphia, Corinne was the daughter of the late John and Rosaria “Sally” (Villano) Vito.

Corinne was a 1969 graduate of Maria Goretti High School for girls. After years of raising her young girls Corinne returned to pursue her post-secondary education. She received her BA at the Community College of Philadelphia and Cabrini College, as well as earning her certificate in paralegal studies. Corinne went on to receive her Masters degree in Business at Eastern University. Corinne had been employed as a Contract Specialist with the US Government at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support. She had retired in 2013. She also had been a Substitute Teacher at several Catholic Schools in Philadelphia and a Recruiter for the Community College of Philadelphia.

Corinne was a creative and talented artist and enjoyed drawing. She always shared that her three daughters were her most proudest accomplishment. In her free time she enjoyed doting on her “grandbabies,” playing scrabble, watching Bill Maher and black & white films with a particular liking for Shirley Temple. She was an avid believer in the importance of higher education.

In addition to her beloved husband David, Corinne is survived by her daughters Karen Bradley, Lisa Bradley (Kristin DeForest), and Jennifer Caulkins. She was the older sister of John Vito and Joann Friggle. She is also survived by her grandchildren Gianna, Sebastian, Julian, Paige, Brent, and Avery.

Corinne’s funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd., Warrington PA. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
