Obituary for Colin J. Hiriak
Colin J. Hiriak of Solebury passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Colin was 26 years old.
Born in Massachusetts he was the son of Thomas C. and Michelle L. (Schwager) Hiriak. He was the grandson of Ronald and Lois Schwager and the late Walter and Lois Hiriak. In addition to his parents, and grandparents Colin is survived by his sister; Olivia and his brother; Nathan Hiriak. He was the nephew of Michael Schwager.
Colin was a graduate of New Hope Solebury High School, Class of 2014, where he was a member of the golf team and played cello in the school orchestra. Colin had received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, from Elon University. He was employed with Cotiviti Health Care as a Software Engineer.
In his free time Colin enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed golf, travel, range shooting, skiing, gaming and a good TV show. Colin enjoyed the last year and a half with the love of his life, Sabrina.
Colin always thought of others first. He had a gift; he knew how to make a bad day better for those he touched. We would like to continue to do good in Colin’s name. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Colin’s memory may be sent to The Colin Hiriak Foundation. All donations will be used to improve the lives of families impacted by devastating illness. The family will receive visitors at their home at 18 Estates Drive, Doylestown, PA on Monday, June 20th, from 5:30-7:30.
