Clarence W. Carey of Ivyland passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Luther Woods in Hatboro. Clarence was 89 years old.

Born in Newtown, PA he was the son of the late Clarence E. and Mildred Carey. Clarence was the husband of the late F. Lorraine Carey who passed away in 1983.

Clarence had served in the U.S. Army and had been self–employed as a Carpenter. He also served his community as an auxiliary Police Officer in Ivyland Borough, a member of the Borough Council, and was a lifetime member of the Ivyland Fire Co.

Clarence is survived by his children Douglas (Barbara), Donald (Michele), and Donna Dimitri (Daniel Ruch). Grandfather of Peter Dimitri, Benjamin Carey, Dana Dimitri and Nicole McNally. Great-Grandfather of Kaylin Dimitri. He is also survived by his sister, Bernice Barger. Clarence was preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Henry Carey and his grandson CPL. Clarence’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.
