Obituary for Clare M. Collet

Clare M. Collet, a longtime resident of Doylestown Boro and Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July, 2020 at her home in Doylestown. She was 83 years old.
Clare was the loving wife of the late Charles B. Collet who passed away in 2018.
Clare is survived by her children Adam (Meredith) and Clerisa Marvasi (Giacomo). She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Katarina.
Clare was a graduate of Hawthorne High School and Paterson State Teachers College where she earned her degree in education. She then was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University where she earned Bachelors of Science. Immaculata College Certificate in Expressive Arts in the Dept of Music therapy. She studied Shakespeare at the University of Honolulu for one year. Graduate of Newark State College with a Masters Degree in English. Graduate of the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis. Clare was a certified yoga teacher, reflexologist and Reiki Master. She loved to learn and was constantly going back to school.
Clare was a Teacher K-8 and special needs and a Psychotherapist in Doylestown where she had her own private practice where she also taught individualized Yoga. She did reflexology and Reiki out of her home office.
She was the president of the League of Woman Voters, New Jersey division.
Clare met her husband in Ski club. They were married for 47 years. She was a trained pianist and singer. Avid gardener. She loved to walk and ride her bike. Her friends would say that she loved to talk and was always there to listen.
She was preceded in death by her parents John G Sprattler and Beatrice Norman Sprattler.
Clare’s Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 14, 2020 where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington.
