Obituary for Chester J. Koenig Jr.
Chester J. Koenig, Jr. passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at Arden Court in Warminster. Chester was 89 years old.
Chester was the beloved husband of Arlene M. (Bottali) Koenig. Together the couple had shared 65 years of marriage.
Chester had served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957 on the USS Pittsburgh and USS Wisconsin. He then attended Temple University where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed with Univac-Scan Data-And Hope Industries.
In his free time Chester enjoyed boating, fishing, and ballroom dancing.
In addition to his wife Chester is survived by his sons; Christopher (Beth) and Kerry (Pamela) Koenig. He was the grandfather of Kyle, Christopher Jr., Tristin, and Seth Koenig, and great grandfather to Josephine Koenig. He was the brother of Ella Garbinski.
A memorial service for Chester will be held on Friday March 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington. The family will receive friends from 12noon until the time of service. Interment will be private.
