Obituary for Charlotte Mae Pardoe

Charlotte Mae Pardoe of Pipersville passed away on December 24, 2022 at Doylestown Hospital. Charlotte was 80 years old. Born in Abington, PA., she was the daughter of the late Ernest Pardoe and Ethel (Sharp) Pardoe.

Charlotte had attended Palisades High School. She had been employed with US Gauge as a Secretary for over 30 years. Charlotte was a longtime active member of Tinicum UCC, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years as well as a member of the Choir. She was involved in many Church functions and for the last several years was the organizer and the heart of the Annual Community Yard Sale. She enjoyed many different hobbies including scrapbooking, traveling and collecting all sorts of Teddy Bears, just to name a few. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She was known as “Aunt Charlotte” not only to her actual nieces and nephews, but to many people in the community. (“Aunt”) Charlotte will be greatly missed by all.

Charlotte is survived by her sister; Mary Ann Brown, her sister-in-law Tina Pardoe and brother-in-law Edward Wismer, Sr. She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Wismer and brother Robert Pardoe. She is also survived by: 8 Nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews and 5 great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on February 11, 2023 at 11:00am at the Tinicum United Church of Christ, 310 E Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, PA 18947. Family and friends are welcome to attend the service as well as the luncheon at the Church afterward, and then at the Plumstead Cemetery where internment of her ashes will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
