Obituary for Barbara W. Lukens
Barbara W. Lukens, of Bedminster Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge Nursing Home. She was 92.
Barbara was the loving wife of the late John Paul Lukens Jr., who passed away in June of 2017.
Born in Willow Grove, PA, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Susan Walther. She graduated from Upper Moreland High School.
Barbara and Paul raised their family at their beloved farm in Bedminster, PA where she lived for 55 years. Barbara loved nature and the outdoors, tending her gardens, walking in the woods and even taking toboggan rides well into her eighties. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her two sons, John Paul Lukens III “Skip” and his wife, Melissa, Stephen Lukens and his wife, Suzy; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Emma Lukens.
In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Leedom.
Services for Barbara will be private at the convenience of the family.
