Obituary for Arlene R. Bergen
Arlene R. Bergen, of Warwick Twp., passed away at Doylestown Hospital on February 24, 2022 with her daughter and grandson by her side after a long illness.
Arlene received her RN from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1953. She was married to the late Adolph A. Bergen, Jr. in 1956 in Elizabeth, NJ, and resided in Fanwood and Westfield, NJ before moving to Jamison, PA in 2001. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Arlene worked in nursing until going to work in her husband’s business, M Bergen & Sons, then as a medical receptionist for an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Gregory S. Gallick, in Union, NJ.
She enjoyed her family and all her pets through the years. She liked cooking and entertaining, birdwatching, reading, and was a great fan of College Basketball.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Watson, and grandson, Andrew J. Watson.
Service and interment will be private.
