Annie B. Anderson, of Lansdale, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale.

Anne was the beloved wife of the late Algie W. Anderson who passed away in 2007.

Born in Norfolk, VA, she was a daughter of the late James and Viola Powell.

Anne was employed as an administrator at Brooklyn College for most of her life.

In her free time, Anne enjoyed cooking and telling her kids and grandkids what to do.

Anne is survived by four children, Horace Anderson, Maritiza “Tesa” Anderson Washington (Lance), Drexall Anderson, Roy Anderson (Dawn), 8 grandchildren, David, Nicole, Jonetta, Roy, Shernita, Terrell, Brittany, Darshaun, and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anne is preceded in death by two children, Donald Anderson and Ethel Thompson.

Anne’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lansdale, 700 N. Broad St., Lansdale, PA 19446. Family will receive friends from 9:00 until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be in Anne’s name made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
