Obituary for Anne M. Hatch
Anne M. Hatch of Furlong formerly of Rosemont passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2021. Anne was 97 years old.
Born in Lansdale, PA., Anne was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Stover) Curley.
Anne was the wife of the late Harry J. Hatch, Jr (aka Pete).
Anne graduated from Misericordia Nursing School as a Registered Nurse. While attending Misericordia, she met the love of her life, Pete, on a blind date and they were happily married for 57 years. They were also long time members of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish. Anne enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, horse racing, rooting for the Phillies, Eagles and Villanova Basketball. She truly appreciated the simple things in life: time with her family and the sun on her face.
Anne is survived by her children Joan Haller (William), Anne Davies (Richard), James (Geraldine), Francis (Barbara), Joseph (Angeline), and William Hatch (Cynthia). Anne was the sister of Sr. Dolora M. Curley, OSF and Robert Curley. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jessica, Jamie, Daniel, Jennifer, Joseph, Joan, Jason, Krista, Brian, Jaclyn, Kelly, Caitlin, Jack and Harry and her 21 great grandchildren.
Anne was preceded in death by her daughter; Jeanne Loverro, her siblings; Agnes Cunningham, Alice Hufnagle Lauman, Eleanor O’Connor, Mary, William, Joseph, and James Curley, and her grandsons; Joseph and Michael Verzella.
Anne’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 6, 2021 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Doylestown. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown. The family will receive friends at the Church from 9:00am until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Anne’s memory may be sent to_St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
