Allen C. Shane of Doylestown passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 at his home in Doylestown. Al was 82 Years old. Born in Philadelphia, Al was the son of the late Clarence and Edith (Nee Teale) Shane.

Al was the husband of Kathleen T. (Nee Craig) Shane, who together shared 58 years of marriage. The couple had resided in Doylestown since 1976. Al was the former President of Harro Höfliger Packing Systems. He enjoyed working with his family, colleagues in Germany and his customers.
Al enjoyed traveling with his wife Kathy and spending time with his children and his grandchildren, and making memories while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of Doylestown Country Club.

In addition to his wife Al is survived by his children; Lisa Gervais (Robert), Jeff (Evy), Greg (Molly), and Michael Shane. Al is also survived by his grandchildren Evan, Alexandra, Ryann, Adam, Brandon, Carson, Levi and Kiera.

Al’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976. The family will receive friends from 11:30am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
