Obituary for Allan Henry Shelly
Allan Henry Shelly, of Doylestown Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at ProMedica Oxford Valley. He was 64.
Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late Jacob Warren and Josephine Shelly and enjoyed life on the family dairy farm in Plumstead Township.
Allan attended Muhlenberg College where he received his degree in Music. Through the years, he taught piano and organ to many youngsters and adults. He was also a gifted church organist.
In his free time, Allan enjoyed spending time with friends, reading, listening to music, and playing with his beloved canine companion.
Strengthened by a deep and abiding faith, Allan boldly faced the many challenges in his life while keeping a joyful spirit. He loved His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and kept his trust in Him.
Allan will be deeply missed by his sisters, Joanne Shelly and Eileen Shelly; his nieces, Joleen and Tiara; his nephew, Royal; and many longtime friends.
A Memorial Service for Allan will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Allan may be made to the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 400 Freedom Dr, Newtown PA 18940 or the Bible League, 1 Bible League Plaza, Crete IL 60417.
