Obituary for Ernest Brun
Ernest Brun, a former resident of Horsham for 67 years, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Pine Run Lake View, Doylestown. He was 90.
Ernest was the loving husband of the late Margaret Brun.
Born in Chestnut Hill, he was a son of the late Severio and Severina Brun.
Ernest was proud to have served with the US Army during the Korean War.
Employed for over 39 years and retiring in 1988, Ernest was a foreman with the Philadelphia Electric Company, Gas Operations. In his leisure time, Ernie enjoyed wood working, building bird houses and yard art and he also enjoyed working in the yard and gardens.
Ernest is survived by a son James (Linda) and daughters Nancy Brun and Patricia Miller, 3 grandchildren, Lindsey (Aaron), Shawn (Christina) and Ryan and 4 great grandchildren, Brady, Laine, Claire and Kevin. He was also the brother of Elmer Brun and the late Elio Brun.
Services and interment with military honors will be held privately at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Doylestown Hospital Hospice, c/o development office, 595 W. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
