Obituary for Eleanor M. Bushnell
Eleanor Mary Bushnell of Doylestown, formerly of Levittown, PA, passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at Greenleaf Nursing Home in Doylestown. She was 90 years old. Born in Philadelphia Eleanor was the daughter of the late Seth A. and Hattie E. Reid.
Eleanor was the wife of the late Joel V. Bushnell, they had been married for 31 years, and the late Joseph Harry Bushnell who together shared 25 years of marriage.
Eleanor enjoyed beautiful things, including tending to the flowers in her gardens and travelling across the country with her husband Harry. Her favorite trip was to Hawaii. Eleanor had a love of baseball and always supported her hometown Philadelphia Phillies.
Eleanor is survived by her children Linda Hering, Diane Walker and Wayne Bushnell (Jane). She had been preceded in death by her son’s Glen and Allen Bushnell. She is also survived by her daughter in law Kathy Bushnell, and her 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Eleanor will be held Wednesday, August 8 from 9:30 to 11:00 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road Warrington, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately in Tullytown Cemetery.
