Obituary for Jakob Streng
Jakob Streng of Warminster formerly of Warwick, passed away on Friday July 27, 2018 surrounded by his family at Jefferson Abington Hospice in Warminster. He was 79 years old. Born in Periam, Romania, Jakob was the son of Franz and Marian Streng.
Jakob was the husband of Katherine (Kleitsch) Streng, together they had shared 55 years of marriage. In their spare time they enjoyed quilting together. Avid in solving word searches, Jakob enjoyed playing UNO with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Katherine, he is survived by his children Kathy Acker (George) and Stephen Streng (Lisa). Jakob is the grandfather of Cindy Steever, Ashley, Michelle and George Acker, Jr. and Stephen, Rebecca, Sarah, and Jacob Streng. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers.
Jakob’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Saint Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church 1410 Almshouse Road Jamison, PA., where the family will receive friends after 10:00am until the time of Mass. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Jakob’s memory may be sent to Saint Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church
