Obituary for Helen M. Harvey

Helen M. Harvey
Helen M. Harvey (nee Kaczmarczyk), 49, of Warrington passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 5, 1969, to Richard A. Kaczmarczyk and the late Helen Marie (nee Cerula) Kaczmarczyk, Helen graduated from Bishop Conwell High School in 1987 and from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Helen spent her life helping others. In her professional life and private life, she selflessly thought of others first. The time which she dedicated to helping children, the elderly, Alzheimers sufferers, cancer patients, family, friends, and so many others shows us what a special person she was.

She was always the first to volunteer and to think of innovative ways to get things done. For everyone around her she exemplified how to be kind, helpful, compassionate, and thoughtful.

Helen’s proudest accomplishment is her two children, Mae and Tristan. Through her love, nurturing, and guidance she raised her children to be as thoughtful and compassionate as she.

Helen is predeceased by her mother, Helen Marie, her maternal grandparents, Peter and Lee Cerula, and her paternal grandparents, Walter and Loretta Kaczmarczyk.

She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Roy, and her children, Mae and Tristan; her father, Richard A. Kaczmarczyk; her sister, Sandra A. Trease; her brother, Richard W. Kaczmarczyk; her sister-in-law, Kelly Baumbach; her nephews and nieces, Nolan, Natalie, Michael and Richard; and her best friend since kindergarten, Deb Stern.

Helen will be sadly missed by her uncles, aunts, several cousins, close friend Monika Ertwine, and the entire Harvey Family.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday June 25, 2018, from 5:00pm-8:00pm, at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington. Helen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Warrington. . Helen will be interred next to her mother at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. There will be no visitation Tuesday morning.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the “Helen Harvey Children’s Trust”, P. O. Box 59, Jamison, PA 18929.

Helen will live forever in our hearts.
