Russell P. Fox
Russell P. Fox, a lifelong resident of Warrington, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Neshaminy Manor. He was 94.
Russell was the loving husband of Elizabeth (Jacobs) Fox who he shared over 70 years of marriage.
Born in Warrington, Russell was a son of the late Wilmer and Martha (Pross) Fox.
Russell was proud to be a combat veteran serving with the US Army 30th Infantry Division during WWII. Russell was a recipient of the Purple Heart and fought at the Battle of the Bulge.
For 30 years, Russell was employed as a mail carrier at the Warrington Post Office. In his free time, Russell enjoyed music, especially Blue Grass and enjoyed traveling to music festivals.
In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by a son Russell D. Fox and a daughter Lisa K. Fox. He is also survived by a brother W. Donald Fox and several nieces and nephews. Russell was preceded in death by a sister Mary Cynthia Wieland.
Russell’s funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Chapel at Beulah Cemetery, 238 Almshouse Rd, New Britain where the family will receive friends after 10:00 until the time of service. Interment will follow.
