Obituary for William J. Mikalic
William J. Mikalic, a former resident of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 with his family by his side. He was 74.
Bill was the loving husband of Donna Mikalic. The couple enjoyed 35 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, Bill was the son of the late John and Bertha Mikalic.
Bill was a chemist and worked in the textile industry most of his life, and was most recently employed as a consultant for the Synalloy Corporation.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a son John (Kay) and three daughters, Carolyn Maletz (Ray), Michelle Carmody (Kevin) and Jacqui Mariner (Dave). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, Bobby, Justin, Kelsey, Ally, Casey, Nick, Ray, Kaitlyn, Maddy, J.T. and Abby.
William’s memorial service celebrating his life will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 2:00 pm until the time of service.
