Obituary for Charles W. Ewer Jr.
Charles W Ewer Jr., of Warrington passed away on Monday June 4, 2018, at his home in Warrington. He was 74 years old.
Born in Glenside, he was the son of the late Charles W Ewer Sr., and Florence H Ewer (Smith).
He was the loving husband of Jacoba C Ewer for 49 years.
Charles had a passion for flying. He enjoyed flying his Beechcraft Bonanza, and was known as “Sky Pilot” by his fellow aviators. He was proud to be a pilot and enjoyed every moment in the sky.
Charles loved to be on his boat. He loved being on the water fishing, scuba diving and enjoying life on the water. Charles was also a boat builder. His attention to detail for every aspect of the build was remarkable.
He also had a passion to restore old cars. Charles dreams to own and create, was who he was.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his sister Bonnie E. Durphy. (Gerald) He was the brother in law of Hermina J. Stahl. Charles was a mentor and roll model to his nephews, William, Michael, Gregory and Gerald Durphy, who he loved so much.
A celebration of Charles Life will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 beginning at 10:00am at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington. Internment will follow in Neshaminy Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 9:00am until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
