Obituary for Michael F. Kostick

Michael F. Kostick
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael F. Kostick (Farmer Mike) of Bedminster, Pa., announce his passing in Doylestown on Thursday May 24, 2018 surrounded by his family. Michael was 70 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank and Anne Kostick.

Michael had served in the United States Navy, aboard the USS Warrington as a Radar man. Above all else, he loved his family and friends. Through his living example, his passions and his honesty – he was an inspiration, mentor and rescuer to many he encountered throughout his life. He enjoyed spending family vacations at their home in Surfside Beach, S.C. Working on his farm was a huge part of his life.
In addition to his beloved wife, Elizabeth, Michael is survived by his children Marianne Bailey Lucas, Michael II (Mary), Keith (Frannie Jo), Mark (Genny) Kostick and Ryan Bailey (Megan). He was the grandfather of 10, and great-grandfather of 1. He is also survived by his sister Fran Horoff (Arnie).

The family will receive friends at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington on Wed. May 30, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Thurs., May 31, 2018, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. Beginning at 10:00am will be a time for sharing memories.
Mass of Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday, at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1545 Easton Rd, Warrington. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
