Obituary for Dennis J. Burns
Dennis J. Burns of Pipersville, PA passed away on Thursday December 14th, 2017 at his home. Dennis was 59 years old. Born in Westchester, PA., he was the son of the late Fredrick and Ann Burns.
Dennis had married MaryAnn (Conwell) Burns and had shared 34 years of marriage.
Dennis had served in the US Navy and was a 1976 graduate of Central Bucks East High School, Dennis had been employed at Dunne Manning Ottsville Exxon, where He was the Manager.
Dennis loved spending time with his family, laughing and telling jokes with his loved ones. He was a writer and published three books. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies and television. He loved summer vacations in Sea Isle City, NJ.
In addition to his loving wife MaryAnn he is survived by his, children Caitlin J Burns, and Connor J Burns and his wife Sierra Burns. He was the brother of Kathleen Burns and Diane Szwajkowski, and also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A celebration of Dennis’s life will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 5:00pm at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller’s Church Roads, Plumsteadville. The family will receive friends after 4:00pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Center Of Doylestown Hospital
