Obituary for William J. Zarkowski Jr.
William J. Zarkowski, Jr. of Warrington passed away on Sunday, November, 26, 2017 surrounded by his family at his home. Bill was 77 years old.
Born in Philadelphia Bill was the son of the late William and Ida Zarkowski, Sr.
Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years Dolores I. (Nee Dubeck) Zarkowski ; his children, Karen Malandra (Robert), Michael (Janet), Robert (Gwen), and Dyan O’Hara (Timothy): and his cherished 11 granchildren.
Bill graduated from Penn State where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from NADC, Warminster after 38 years of working in support of the U.S. Navy. For many years he was an active member at St. Robert Bellarmine Church and Warrington Athletics.
Bill’s family was the most important part of his life. He enjoyed many cruises with his wife and family. Golfing, playing Blackjack and time spent on the Margate porch were some of his favorite past times.
Bill’s funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 10:00am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church 856 Euclid Ave. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 9:00am until the time of Mass. The interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to St. Robert Bellarmine.
