Obituary for Francis X. "Frank" Eells
Francis X. Eells 92 of Horsham, died on Sunday September 24, 2017, surrounded by his family at Gwynedd Square Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia on May 7, 1925, Francis was the son of the late William and Helena Eells.
Francis was a Graduate of Southeast Catholic H.S. and the University of Pennsylvania. He had retired after many years as an Accountant
Francis is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen nee McElroy; Father of William (Nelly), Walter (Rene’e), Margaret Whelihan (Michael), Joseph Eells, (Lisa Sheldon), Helene McGowan (Patrick, deceased), Brother Francis X. Eells FSC. Sisters; Rita Morris(deceased), Kathryn Springfield(deceased), Mary Ahern (deceased), and Regina Dreyer. Grandchildren; Melissa Eells, Robert Eells, Patrick Eells, Joseph Eells, Andrew Eells, Liam Whelihan, Bernadette McGowan, Michael Whelihan, Patrick McGowan, Brigid Whelihan, and Maura McGowan
Francis’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 29, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 1795 Columbia Ave, Warrington, PA. Internment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the Shelly Funeral Home 1460 Easton Rd. Warrington, and on Friday at the Church from 10:00am until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 1795 Columbia Ave, Warrington, PA
